Retail has long been a significant and evolving part of daily life, transforming from the traditional marketplaces of ancient Greece and China to the modern-day department stores and shopping malls. In recent years, online retail has become a major force, especially during and after the Covid-19 pandemic, when more people turned to online shopping.

This project aims to create spaces that rejuvenate and highlight the importance of physical retail, placing greater emphasis on traditional shopping experiences, such as window shopping, while introducing innovative methods that allow customers to personalize their products.

The design integrates a lattice of steel beams throughout the building's interior. These beams form various pockets of space that customers can interact with, serving as dynamic displays that offer diverse ways to present products.

The design development stage initially begins with contemplating the creation of living spaces where multiple species can cohabit. This involves using a lattice structure to create various opening sizes suited to different species. Gradually, this focus shifts towards exploring how the same approach could enhance the retail experience.
